PGA 2k25 Building you your MyPlayer

If any of you have created additional MyPlayer's .. do you "quick start" or "Take My Time"? And how quickly does it take to build that additional player up ?

I feel like I'm in a rut.. I created my initial player , going with sculptor, and while Im at an 81 overall , I'm not tiering up very fast or earning very much VC or XP/CHP. My CHP is at a 21 , my Sculptor level is at a 51. And again .. my overall is at an 81.

I'm having a blast playing this game, but I feel like I should be advancing / building up my player faster than what I currently show that I'm at. Maybe I'm not applying what I have earned properly , I don't know. I can use some tips / advice of ya'll have any . Thanks !

Quick Start vs. Take My Time is only in terms of how your MyPlayer looks. Quick Start will just send you right to changing the player's name, archetype, etc. Take My Time has you change hair, skin tone, facial features, etc.

The whole reason you're not leveling up fast is due to the changes made to the VC right before launch. They drastically reduced the amount of VC you could earn, and raised the cost of attribute points. Therefore, it now takes something like 2-2.5x longer to level your player up than it did in Early Access. Not to mention...as your OVR increases, the rate of getting to a higher OVR also increases. For example, I'm at a 91 OVR, and it will take almost 3,000 VC to go up to a 93.

You should, however, be earning lots of XP now, as it's being handed out at a 2x level until March 7. If you're already at Level 51, it seems like you're actually moving up that scale pretty quickly.
