Re: No Etiquette: The Party Fouls of PGA Tour 2K25 Online

I’ve played ~25 ranked matches so far, I’ve had a mostly positive experience with the people I’ve played. A few refused to fast forward their shots, and I had one person whispering semi-creepy things to attempt to distract me (thankfully not during my swing), but the vast majority have been pretty good with the unwritten rules. No practice swings either!

I was definitely someone who practice swung a good bit in EA’s game (offline minus a few private online matches) because I felt tempo was fairly important and it was the best way for me to be semi-consistent with it. 2K23 may have been similar since tempo was king in that game. I feel like tempo being de-emphasized in this game has made practice swinging less important, since it’s slightly easier to be consistent with a stick motion over thousands of swings and you have a better sense of what to do with a motion rather than a tempo/speed imo. I’ve done very little practice swings in this game, mainly just when I’m on a horrid slope and have to swing 60 degrees lol, and haven’t felt the need to to be consistent.
