    AR and forza question

so i have action replay and i also have forza. I've been out of the country for months and yesterday was the first time to play the game. I'm not really a huge career person but rather i tend to play the game with buddies during the weekends.
I downloaded an AR save with everything unlocked and all that stuff, but how can i get it into the game itself? It doesn't really show me any area to load data from the mem card when i plug it into the joystick.
    Am i missing something?

did you copy the AR save to your Xbox harddrive? There isnt a place on Forza to upload from a memory card. and i dont know if it is possible to use AR saves on Forza in the first place.

You are not screwed and you don't need a modded XBox.

To copy the gameseave to your XBox hard drive:

Turn on your XBox w/o a game inserted.

Go to the main menu. Go to memory. Highlight the icon for your memory card and select it. From there you have a Copy and Delete options. Copy your Action Replay save to the XBox and that's it.

thank you very very much. You'll have no idea how much i appreciate this. My buddy is coming to visit on about a week and i just got back to the country myself. The LAST thing i wanted to do was play endless hours just to unlock cars/tracks, just so i can play with a friend.
          Again, thanks

alright, i gave it a go, but i'm having some problem. I apologize for this, but i did go to the memory, then my card. I get to the forza saved data, but there are only delete options. It says the same for all the data i have on that card (winning eleven also is on that card)
I don't see any copy option? I know for sure i'm on the memory card too, so why do i not see a copy option?
Sorry for being a pain in the arse.

I had this problem too on Winning Eleven 8....their should be two ways to highlight, their is the first Forza icon that you can select, then in that little row that comes up should be another Forza icon.

I forget which one you need to select, but one of them should give you the option to copy the file to your HDD.

Some games on the XBox won't let you use the memory card to save to and from the Hard Drive. I've cussed this in the past a few times. Personally, I think that's a stupid move my Microsoft, or whoever made the choice.

I have and AR and Forza, so I'll check it for ya tonight when I get home and see if it's one of those games.

Keirik, you have to select the file by moving the d-pad or stick to the right to actually select the file. Only then will you see the Copy and Delete options.

malrak, while the decision to give devlepers the decision to support or not support memory cards is stupid by Microsoft this isn't the issue. It's just an issue for Keirik because this is his first time copying a save from a memory card to the hard drive. You can do this regardless of memory card support.

                      www.codejunkies.com is the link.

i'm actually still having a problem though. I got to copy the saved data and everything to my hard drive, but when i fire up Forza, it only shows my old profile i had created the first time i played the game. I'm starting to think maybe Forza can only recognize one profile and not two? That seems unlikely though.
Sigh, such a simple task is giving me such a hard time, lol. And to think, i'm a 30 year old grown man.

Tell me what happens when you follow the directions from both of my posts.

(Also make sure that no game is inserted in the tray. You have to do all this from the dash first.)

alright, well, what happens is that i start up the xbox without a game in obviously, copy the data over to my hard drive, check my hard drive to make sure it's actually there, then fire up forza and it's nowhere to be seen. I start up the game and it says "new profile" only instead of letting me load up the one that i just put on my hard drive.
not sure what exactly it is that im doing wrong anymore. Ugh....

What file name are you using from that site? Because some of them are bad files. In fact I have not one for Forza that is yet to work. I can never get one to give me the Copy Option. It only gives the delete and it is not my card because I have other files on there that can be copied with no problems.
