Need For Speed: Most Wanted - Thoughts

I just wanted to start something about the NFS title that's coming out soon enough. Ironically, I've played only the Underground titles. My girlfriend watched me play them too. One thing I kind of got in my mind was the thought of why they didn't try to implement some type of damage to the cars. Just a thought. Do you guys/gals think that damage in the game would bring more depth to it? Do you guys/gals think the game would be greater? Do you guys/gals feel that they are due to have that in the game for as long as they've been doing racing? Any other thoughts??

I've been waiting for another hot pursuit like game for a long time. It's about darn time is about all I can say - enough with this underground stuff, at least for now.

Totally agreed, excited for this game after hating both of the Underground games. Back to the original formula that worked, and worked well.

There will still be car midification in Most Wanted. I get the impression that the game is a merger of all past games, including Underground.

Need for Speed is the most fun, and solid, racing series ever released IMO, and I'm really looking forward to this one.

Ironically, it's basically the only racing game I've ever played unless you want to count Grand Theft Auto. Still, I never sat and played the Hot Pursuit ones but I heard they were hot. The first Underground was good but just wasn't as in depth as they could have been. The second one was garbage cause it didn't do the leap in graphics, gameplay, and depth as it could have. Just wasn't feeling it. Seemed a bit rushed and mentally lacking. I do wish that EA would consider putting in a good damage program in a future game. Just to have that realism in there monetarily. Maybe it's just me....
