is it worth getting nascar 05 and 06

Hi. I don't own any racing games. I am on the ps2. I was thinking about getting into the nascar series by ea. Can you tell me what the major difference is between the two, and if its worth getting both of them (ie are they different enough?) or should i just get 06?

Also, does anyone else get motion sickness in race car games? If so, does this game cause it for you? is there another one thats better for people with motion sickness?

If you're a new nascar gamer, I think you'll have more fun with 05 than 06. The physics were a little more forgiving. On the other hand, there was no team aspect ot it. I hate the team aspect but I'm sure some think it's great.

Overall, 05 was a very fun game. It's undoubtedly cheaper than 06 and so I think you might want ot start with 05 and move on to 06 some time down the road. Personally, I'm not impressed with 06 but I haven't spent much time with it.

As for motion sickness, I can't say cause the only games that have caused this for me have been first person shooters.

for the motion sickness you can actually turn down a slider FOV which slows down the game..I mean you'll still be turnin 188 @ dega but it'll seem alot slower. but wheres the fun in that baby I love the speed LoL difference 05' you could tap the d - pad n get your car to move like nothin but in 06' its the complete opposite much more like in real life.

I just got NASCAR 06 today

To me 06 is 10x better than 05. The way the cars drive is way better than 05.

I will try that when I get a racing game. Its wierd because i don't get sick on the racing games in arcades, and on most of the games when i had ps1. Its just i went to gamestop and played a racing game, The really popular ps2 one, forza or something, and it made me soooo sick.

As for the difference in nascar 05 and 06, I am getting long and clear that its a much better driving experience in 06, but EA has promoted the teamwork aspect, and last year promoted the chase. From the advertisments it kinda made the game sound very different from each other. Is 06 just 05 plus the teamwork, or does it also get rid of things that 05 had?
