Yeah CB you'll have to wait for Nascar 07. I'm sure you'll see the entire EA lineup go 360 later this year.

I wish EA would change the date in which they release Nascar. I still can't figure out why in the world they don't release the game right before the Daytona 500. That is the Super Bowl of racing, and yet they wait until the end of the season to put out a new game.

I agree EA is stupid about the release dates for NASCAR because by the time they release the game the season is almost over. Im also not impressed with how the 360 has so few titles so far, but oh well guess I wait for PS3.

That's simple they have 2 release dates. One is for Nascar Sim Racing (PC) released on the same week of the Dayona 500. Their second release is for their console games which comes out several weeks before The Chase for the Cup. (released last August).

The only problem with this year is that EA has not said if they will release Nascar Sim Racing 2 this Feburary.

You won't get an argument from me regarding NSR, it was absolute crap. Fortunately I bought it for $10 on sale at Circuit City and I still feel I paid too much.

The rumor is that EA is gearing up for the 360 release mid year and NSR2 is being postponed for another overhaul.

wow, i cant imagine the posibilites of a nascar game on 360 or ps3, i can hardly wait. I wont hold my breath too long though, im sure they'll find a way to mess it up. Their NASCAR titles get worse and worse. I dont even know how thats possible considering how they barely even change.

I don't know if this is news or not, but it seems that EA farmed out the development of Nascar 06 and 07 to a studio called Point of View in California. For some reason, I had assumed that Tiburon was still developing the console Nascar titles, but I guess they are no longer.

No indication of whether Nascar 07 is a next-gen or current gen title from looking at their website. If I had to guess, I would assume both.

I hope Point Of View corrects their mistakes with Nascar 07 and ship it with some decent default setups. The fact that you couldn't just pick up and play Nascar 06 like you could in 05 pretty much killed that game, pointless team features aside.

Ditto. NASCAR 2005 was the best EA NASCAR game ever on a console. Man, I spent so many damn hours online and offline with that game.

The reason Tiburn did not do Nascar 07 is that they were given the Superman Returns Project and had to have it ready by June, I'm sure it will be on the 360. But I wish Papyrus still had the rights to Nascar Games I think that Nascar Racing 2003 season is the greatest Nascar Sim ever

Yeah I know what you mean NR2003 just cost me $100 brand new on ebay. I'm looking forward to it real soon.
