Re: Why no Nascar Heat this year?
Its Call Nascar Dirt to Daytona now, and its was going to be released for everything, but then they dropped it from Xbox and Pc.
So if you own a PS2 or GC there you go. Its a shame I was really looking forward to the carrer mode they have.

I'm shocked that it made it on the Gamecube and not the Xbox, the Xbox is a good racing system from what I hear because of the triggers and such for the controller. Gamecube usually never gets racing games.Comment

Re: Why no Nascar Heat this year?
I also have it for the cube and love it....and the kicker is that I am not a race fan. And the dirt does start to feel more like dirt as your speed increases. I am in year two of my career and am getting top speeds around 85 on the dirt and the power slide is coming into play. It did not on the first season as I had not built up my car to get above 65 mph. I love this game and could not sit down to watch a race if you put a gun to my head. I bought it for my wif who is a race fan but she gets more into the design of the car and the set up.....I am just teh driver....she handles all the details since she knows more about hos to set up a car than I do.Comment

Re: Why no Nascar Heat this year?
I have my dirt car maxxed out, and it feels like slippery pavement to me. Yes, you have powerslides, but barely any of the slop that makes dirt so fun.
I drove sprint cars on dirt for a couple years, and if you even compare this game to the actual Dirt Track Racing series on PC, you'll see what I mean.
It's still a fun game, but I can tell they didn't really change the physics a lot for the dirt...just decreased grip on the track settings, basically.Comment
