Re: NASCAR Racing 2003 Season Interview Questions

Are you ever going to bring back small track racing like South Boston?

Are you, or have you ever considered a career mode in Nascar Racing?

      1) Are you going to allow a little more rubbing online? It's the worst thing in the world when you're racing side by side for 10 laps, then one person gets TOUCHED and is sent spinning into the fence. Upon replay review, you can see that the cars barely knicked. In real life, you can do a little rubbing.

2)Since this is the final Papy release in the Nascar series on PC, are you going to release any sort of editor for tracks/car models, so that the mod community can continue to produce for it?

3)Any chances of an online season mode?

Ive got a few but off the top of my head, the first few are::

How long do you intend to support servers for the online community. Is it going to be a one year thing only or are you planning on going further then that?

Any intention of releasing a truck or Busch add-on again in the future? Or does any chance of that go away with the change in licensing?

Will the server hosts have more options to configure the races?

Can we or will we get the chance to qualify MORE then the race alloted 42 cars?

Any chance you will change your mind and come back for another season?

Will the AI be less robot like on the track? Example, more AI bumping, more AI induced incidents. Not trying to be EA Sports like here but randomness would be nice, especially for long race setup testing. This is something that has been editable in the track.ini file in the past, but usually by a ton of trial and error.

Any console future for Sierra/Papyrus with racing?

Will be able to see other users pit stops/crews while coming into pit lane? (flashy yes, but better then seeing a ghost jack)

Will the onine ratings start over from scratch or are they going to be transferable (from N2002) as with N4 to N2002?

Will N2002 cars (user created) be importable or will they need to be re-painted for N2003?

Will the cockpit view be improved any?

There are numerous users who complain they cannot see or get a good feel for the track from the cockpit view. A large league had a recent poll and 37 of 80 votes drive from outside the car (I cannot post the league, as it was a private vote). The vast majority of them said they could not get a proper feel for where they were on the track.

Will the tire wear gauge be improved any? Example, seperate meters for the inside, center, and outside of the tire.

Will it be possible to stall your car on pit road after a pit stop?

Will the online ratings start over from scratch or are they going to be transferable (from N2002) as with N4 to N2002? In addition to this, will there be more trackable stats for the user from online races?

Thanks for the questions guys. I'll send them out ASAP when Heelfan finishes editing them.
