Toca 3... anyone still playing it?

I play the heck out of it. Love that game.

I feel its a step up over Toca 2 in almost every way. Its really cutting into my WE 9 time.

So is it worth $40? I'm tempted to buy it this weekend, but not sure if I'll like it. I went to Blockbuster and they didn't have it. The only place in town that has it is Gamestop and they only have 1 copy.

I feels like Toca 2, but refined.... when you see all the stuff you get to unlock and race, it's kind of mind boggeling that all this racing is on a single disc.

Is it on a blue disk? Or a normal PS2 disk?

As in blue disk, I mean is the back of the CD blue? Because my PS2 won't read those.

If you like racing, and you ever felt that a racing game is worth $40... then YES.

Yeah, I'm still playing TOCA 3. In fact, I race just about every Monday and Wednesday night with a few guys from DSP. We all have the Xbox version. Those of you who have the game should join in if you can.

I play it a lot, mostly online. I'm one of those regular DSP racers.

When I got time, yeah I'm still playing it. Hard to find enough hours in the day to get work done and still play Toca 3 and WE9. When I do play, splitting my time between continuing World Tour and online racing.

It's the regual Silver DVD color.
the game is huge. to big for just a blue disc edition.
heck the demo was on a DVD

I had huge lag problems with the XBox version, still can't figure that out. Frustrated me to no end, so I ran out and picked up the PC version, and play the hell out of it, can't see myself getting bored with it anytime soon.

Don't know, haven't been online with it. My reasoning for getting the PC version was "if my connection won't let me play it online on XBox and I'm doomed to single player, might as well do it in higher res with a good wheel".

I'll try it online soon, just not yet. Still re-unlocking stuff.

Er... huh? What camera options are missing? There's cockpit camera, which ALL racers should have, hood and the outside stuff...
