    World of Outlaws Question

I remember a few of you guys talking about World of Outlaws for PS2, and how great it was.

I've been trying to grab this on E-Bay, but the PS2 version always grabs a pretty high price. But... I see that I can get the PC version for a lot less.

Is the PC version the same game? Is there something "improved" about the PS2 version that causes the higher $$?

    Thanks!

    Re: World of Outlaws Question

The PC version came out before the PS2 version. I have the ps2 version and PC. The PC version is great because of all the mods you can do, including, my favorite part, making the cars wingless. There are also alot of great skins you can download so you can race with all the USAC cars. All in all, any version you get is well worth it, and the ps2 is amazing if you have a steering wheel ( i assume its the same for the PC). Your arms are dead tired after a race and sawing at the wheel the whole time.

PC version came out a long time after the PS2 version, actually...not that it matters much. I just remember sitting around playing the PS2 version for months, waiting on the PC version. They released DTR2 before they got around to porting WoO.

As far as the same game, they're identical with the exception of mods that forensicd explained. Absolutely the exact same thing.
