Hi folks, I'm doing some research on street culture racing competitions (i.e. NOPI Drag racing, Formula D/D1 Drifting and Lap of America) and am in need of a little help finding reliable sources of info. specifically I'm looking for:
1. What are the major and minor events across North
America, Europe and Japan?
2. How would these events rank in popularity?
3. What tracks comprise these events and which ones are most popular?
4. What are the most popular/unique cars that compete and what car classes do they fall into?
If these questions are too detailed, anything you guys can offer as far as links to sites or possible google searches would be much appreciated. I'm doing this as per a project I've been assigned by a game company looking to release a top notch title in 2008 (in order not to taint results I am not revealing which company/franchise I'm working for). So if any of you have thoughts about what you would like to see in future racing games in the next generation of games, then get your two cents in now.
