NASCAR Heat 2002 is a far superior game to NASCAR Thunder 2003 on the Xbox. Yes, it doesn't have every driver or every track, but the setup options and driving model is light years ahead of Thunder. And it does have 43 cars on track, unlike the PS2 version of Heat.

Thunder's driving model is a joke. You can drive around six cars in one turn at Daytona or Talladega on the outside without a drafting partner.

    Yeah, right.

    Take care,

    PK,
I agree with you, bro. Heat 2002 was/is an awesome game. I forgot just how good. I've been playing it all morning and having a blast. Like you said, its roster might not be just right and it's slightly outdated, but I think graphically it's almost as good as Thunder 2003 and the car just handles a ton better even using default setups. I love this game, but I am looking forward to the new Papyrus game tomorrow.
No, I didn't draft Grossman on my fantasy team, what do you think I am an idiot?

Do you know another company that's making Nascar games for consoles.

Opps a million times sorry....didnt know this was console we were talking about.....with PC you have Nascar Racing 2002 and now 2003, but I'm sorry this was about what collecoVision, xbox, ps2 whatever....i dont do consoles, I need best graphics around and consoles lose their luster after a few months, plus even though i hear of online gaming, i just raced against 32 players online without a hitch...i doubt you can do that with consoles....usally kids own consoles and cant afford the DSL or Cable connections required for smooth play online.........again sorry bout the confusion

you should check out XBOX with an HDTV (oh yeah also DD 5.1 stereo set-up)

it will blow your 17/19" monitor away

seriously...HDTV and console is a pretty tight combo

Bummed that you're not on my ignore list yet?.....Don't worry, I'm sure you will be very soon.
