NHRA's Full-time dedicated Safety Safari was at the track during the accident on Monday just before Noon. The right tire exploded when he was making his run. The car went head on into the wall, but they aren't saying which, Resulting in sustaining a severe head injury. He passed away Friday, March 23, at 3:20 p.m(ET).
Earlier this week there were pictures on dragracingonline but they may end up taking them down.
