I think it's still too new... I'd give it a week or so before folks post good setups. Also, keep in mind that some people will be using the wheel and other's the xbox controller so that will change the setups.

i copied a few setups @ Pheonix from Nascar Racing 2003 to Nascar 08 made a few tweaks with tire pressure camber and gear and I sat on the pole and ran 3rd in 15% long race. So I would say use those as a template to start by

That's the best idea I've ever heard...and actually quite a testament to an EA console racer. The NR2003 baselines actually function?

Do you have a link to a good site for NR2003 setups? I quit playing that series at NASCAR Racing 3 b/c my computer couldn't handle the graphics. Sadly, I never upgraded my computer.

You'd still have to have the game to load them up and get the numbers to plug into the garage in NASCAR 08, though...

Happy you started this thread because there are many options you can tweak now

I heard that you can make the game control much better with the controller by adjusting the steering trim to 4.0

i have been looking all over the web, the setups i found, they are in .sim format, i just need to find a convertor to be able to read them.

This will tell you what does what and also toward the bottom it 's like my car does this so how do I fix it. I don't have the game yet, Gamefly is sending it. Also this knowledge transfers really well into Forza 2
