    Possible problem ... (NASCAR 08, PS3)

Ok, so I'm running my first full race with this game (took me awhile to get used to it again + NCAA 08). I'm running the Busch Series at Daytona, the Orbitz 300. I paused the game for a quick break around lap 40 and checked the leaders. I noticed that the top 8 are cup guys with Kevin Harvick running (get this) 219 mph laps! Did I miss something and they took the restrictor plates off the Busch cars or is this a glitch that needs to be fixed?

Btw, I'm on opponent difficulty on Normal, my difficulty is Veteran.

UPDATE: Lap 66, I'm in the lead with a 10 second lead (wtf) and catching pairs of lap cars with ease. Probably 25 cars on the lead lap. My last lap was 204 mph

Yea I posted a pic on here of some crazy qualifing times, but no in real life restrictor plates are still there. I think EA dropped the ball on the cpu AI this year. I also was lapping cars at Daytona with ease. However I am still enjoying the game.

Yea, the finish was crazy. I ended up winning by .099 over Menard and Dale Jr. I really do enjoy the game a lot ... just doesn't make sense to lap the field with ease like I was doing. I caught up, thanks to cars coming out of pit lane locking up the field.

Yea the cpu AI seems to get lost coming off pit road, I have seen a big traffic jam at California on the back stretch, with at the cpu cars trying to get up to speed. Also when they try to pit they all seem to come to a complete stop before coming down pit road.
