There IS talk about a transfer of the Yates/Newman/Haas/Lanigan #38 to Hendricks for Jr. next year. my question is, can they use the # like i photo shopped it below?

Imsure the 3 is trademarked and they wouldnt be able to use it.

Junior has said he would like to run #81. He has used it before in Busch Series races.

they are saying now that they dont think they will allow the transfer of the 38 over.

My guess is it will be the 81 the last team to run the 81 was DEI in 2003 before that it was 1998 when it was last run. So i think that one is the safest and easiest bet.
