    Need For Speed ProStreet

I would almost swear EA is back on track to make a decent NFS game once again. The game looks good. The online options sound pretty tight providing they can nail the multiplayer netcode (something EA generally fails to do). But what really has me interested in this game is the crashes - take a look at the latest IGN video

Cars flipping and rolling and parts flying all over - looks like they might be in the running for best damage model on a console right up there with Forza 2 and the Race Driver series.

I am not a big fan of EA racers as of late but this one looks different - maybe it is the pre-release hype. Anyway, picked up PGR4 and Rally Revo in the TRU sale - think I will keep them under wraps until we get a demo and so reviews of Pro Street.

Last one I enjoyed was NFS: Porsche Unleashed, I loved that game. Was one of my favorite franchises too. After that came Hot Pursuit 2, just wasn’t very good then after that the fast and furious nawz era began. That style wasn’t my cup of tea and the series really started to look like it was going arcade so I tuned out.

I don’t even know if Most Wanted and Carbon were any good. I was (still am) playing GTR1 & 2, GTL and rFactor during that time.

If the hype about an advanced damage model, respectable physics are true I’ll most definitely check it out, could be a blast.
