    F1:CE Question

I love the Sixxaxis tilt steering in this game. I had a real difficult time driving with the stick - found it way too twitchy. My one issue with the controls is the amount of travel or sensitivity of the triggers, which I'm using for throttle/brake. Depressing it just 50% and I'm locking up the brakes on every corner and going full throttle. The indicators show I'm fully pressing the brakes, even if I'm barely tapping them. I don't see any way to adjust brake sensitivity in the setups. Is there a way to calibrate the triggers? Do you guys just play with ABS on?

        Re: F1:CE Question

I got started in my career mode and ended up with a first driver's seat at Super Aguri (YAY for me) with Ide as the second driver. One of my set career goals is to finish ahead of Ide. So I'm 6 races into the season and I've outqualified him in every race and finished well ahead of him in every race except for Australia, when my engine blew on lap 17. Yet, when I look at the drivers standings Ide is actually ahead of me. Neither of us has scored a single point so that can't be the problem. I hope I don't need to score a point to beat him because my car is an absolute pig.

Speaking of cars, do you guys notice any difference in lap times from car to car?

What is a good time when making a pit stop in this game? I have no idea whether I am losing too much time because I suck at that button pressing exercise. My best time is 8.5 seconds.

I've had a couple of disappointing finishes in the last few races. Crashed out with 10 laps to go in Monaco, got into fender bender with Mark Webber in Barcelona and finished 21st after qualifying 9th....all this after a spirited drive to 11th place from 19th at Nurburgring. Good fun...

Did you land the first driver's seat right from the start? If so what level are you playing on? I haven't played in a while (looking to get back into it actually) but the best I could get when starting my career on Medium was a test driver seat with Super Aguri. I then did well in my first test and failed the next 3 or 4. I need some serious practice. I kept making a mistake on the last lap of my runs in tests where you have to get 3 or 5 consecutive laps under a certain laptime.

I did (on medium) but I drove many time trial laps before my test session with Super Aguri. I think the goal was somewhere around a 1:21 at Barcelona and I did a 1:19 or so. I'm hoping to at least get a test seat next season on a team that can hopefully compete for points. This battling at the back of the grid can be frustrating....but still fun.
