I bought several Dale Earnhardt die cast cars from RCR and each car come with a copy of the set up sheet they used for that particular race each car was ran at. I got great results using them as my base set up and tweaking to my driving style.

Here is a guide that I made some years ago and plenty of sim racers are still using to this day. Print it out for future use.

Thanks a lot man. Although Nascar 11 looks solid, I want to save my money and get 09 for the ps3. I've been playing Nascar 06 on the Ps2 for so long now, and I just want a cheap upgrade to the newer system. On Nascar 06 in your career I find it to be such a bummer that you can only do like 25% the length of an actual race. I know thats good for most, but I love the idea of being in my own custom painted car, as a rookie in a slower car, going 500 laps at Bristol. Just love it.
