Re: linearity setting for controller
The one that works or you.
It sounds like a smartass comment, but I'm serious. Nobody can tell you what linearity is best for you. The higher the linearity, the twitchier it gets at the center of the stick range. If you move the stick a tiny bit and the steering wheel cranks over and the car gets too twitchy, then lower linearity. If you turn it over and it's too slow to react, raise linearity.
You'll find a balance. -

Re: linearity setting for controller
Well, T I was asking this question becasue on the boards the general consensus for the wheel is that 75 is the best. So I was going tosee what most people was using with a controller. But no hard feelings,I know exactly what you are getting at. But justfor you guys I've started using it at 35 and it works pretty well, may wanna try it.Comment

Understood, but the wheel is one thing...everybody can pretty much turn a wheel at the same speed.Well, T I was asking this question becasue on the boards the general consensus for the wheel is that 75 is the best. As far as how precise people can be with their thumb on a tiny little stick, though....wiiiiiiiiiiiiiide variation of levels. 35 sounds like it would be about right for a joystick/gamepad, though.Comment
