Wow, I saved up and bought one of the 20 mil Audi's and led until I wrecked in the last fifteen seconds one year and then won the whole thing the next! Seriously though, the global racing league is kicking my butt right now!

Anyway, I raced at Circuit de la Sarthe about a dozen times on independent drive offers that come around at the end of a season, but I haven't made it there with my team yet. I plan to finish up all my National races before going Global.

You are right it was pretty expensive, but to win it was worth it. I probably need to finish all the national stuff first. I have finished all of the USA and Japan and barely scratched the surface in Europe. So what I have been doing is racing a Global race and then racing a European one. The Global races are insane though. Beating Ravenwest is almost impossible. They start off 1st and 2nd every stinking race! How can you compete with that when they are the best CPU players on the game?

Ravenwest is no joke. That team has been owning me in those Head to Head races.
Definitely not looking forward to competing against them in Global races.

I have won all of the head to head races against them, but when you race in the Global ones and you start 10th every race and they start 1 and 2 it is almost impossible to get anywhere close to them!

I just raced in the first Le Mans race on the National level with my team. It was the series with the Mazda 787B and Nissan R390 prototype cars. The race took place on the 1968 version of Circuit de la Sarthe -- the version before the two chicanes were added on the 4-mile Mulsanne Straight. Wow, that is an insanely long straightaway!

But now the bad news. Rick Scott and Nathan McKane from Team Ravenwest owned me again. They kept getting past me on the series of medium-speed Porsche Curves preceding the two Ford Chicanes near the start/finish line. I have big-time problems keeping up with the pack on that section of the track without losing positions.
