But yet a driver exactly like him 15-20 years ago was loved. I think he drove a black number 3.

I'm a Stewart fan have been since I was young.May have something to do with him being from the same town I am. Grew up watchin him on a dirt tracks around here. Racing everything from sprints to midgets and everything in between. While I'll admit Stewart has done some bone headed things before, it's not as bad as anybody else has done. Of course I also like the fact that he doesn't give a crap what the media thinks. I always find it strange that people want athletes/drivers to speak their mind but yet when they do, people bash them for it.

To me, Hamlin's arrogance stems from the fact that he's been in the big show for all of two and a half years, yet he insists on going around acting like he's some font of wisdom and treating guys like Keselowski and Logano like they're morons.

Stewart gets into scraps now and then, but that's passion, not arrogance.

That is exactly what I was referring to. Arrogance from someone who has been around forever is generally received much differently than when it comes from a younger person in the sport. Obviously some level of arrogance is important to have, but brash comments such as the one Hamlin made towards Brad aimed at belittling him simply because he's running the nationwide series and is not a "CUP" driver are pompous. Hell I have probably enjoyed more Nationwide races this year than cup races. They just seem to race harder.

What Kyle Busch did this past weekend just a hop skip and a jump from where I live was amazing. I mean he didn't even get off the pavement the whole race. I wont lie, I was mumbling under my breathe, "spint out", "spint out", "spin out", but of course he didn't.
