That's one of the things that made me like him so much. He comes out as a rookie and dominates Pocono. They ask him about how he did it in the post-race interview, and he goes "Well I play this game called NASCAR Racing 2003 Season a ton, and it's my favorite track". I about bust a gut laughing at that kind of an interview, but I immediately liked him. (hadn't seen the video before posting that as I was on the phone, but...yeah...obviously that's the same thing I saw years ago hah).
Some of my buddies familiar with the team say he's not the sharpest tool in the shed, but is a heck of a driver, and that's always been good enough for me

Yea I used to like him, but this year has really made me glad that I went back to rooting for my favorite driver's son. Hamlin has just been an idiot sometimes this year like stopping on the track at richmond or running into Kelowski under caution in a nationwide race.Comment

Truex raced iRacing a few times back in June.
Conversely, Junior raced a few times YESTERDAY, and placed 3rd in a race this morning. He had 12 individual race sessions on the 6th...dude is hardcore
Michael McDowell is pretty nuts for it, too, posting 9 sessions on Sunday.Comment
