    Nascar 09 Lap Times

    Has anyone compiled a list of what’s considered great online lap times for each track? I'm trying to tune my COT for a number of different tracks, but I really don't have a reference to compare what is a competitive time and what is not. I'm new to the forums and I haven't been able to find anything. Thanks.

      Don't think there is anything here (OS) for lap times.

      http://forum.racesimcentral.com/ Might have something as alot of people use that site for a hub in sim racing.

      It can't hurt, but maybe look at the real laptimes at the tracks you want to guage your speed?

          The lap times online vary drastically. We (OS members) ran Daytona this past Sunday and folks hit the low 48's in qual. However, I jumped online last night and was told that 48's at Daytona are slow and most now run 46.5's. So it varies...

          Other things to factor in... Is it a no damage race? The length of the race? What wear setting are you running with?

              The only way anyone is hitting 46.5's at Daytona is using the engine glitch.

                      Yeah, how BS is that? We were drafting and hitting those speeds and people who cheat run faster than that by themselves. I wish EA would say something about their plans on whether they plan to fix this. If not, I don't see any other choice but to join in. There must be something wrong with the Aero and how it's implemented as well, because we drafted for one whole fuel run and actually got *less* mileage than we did when running alone.
