Gamespot and IGN both have released reviews for the game. My impressions are that it's basically Moto GP2 with more real tracks (15 total) and Fantasy (20 total). You'll find 100 challenges as well. There's a new cockpit mode which is pretty useless. EA's Superbike did the best job using the Cockpit View. It always gave me the same perspective when I use to ride my Suzuki Katana. You can now use independant front/rear brakes. Other than that the games the same. It looks the same, the AI's the same and feels the same.
The bottom line is that if you own an XBOX then Moto GP is the game to get if you can find it. MotoGP 2, will be even better for the BOX later this year, you can play online as well. MotoGP (THQ) for the BOX does everything better including graphics than Namco's bike games and the AI is just nasty.
If you've never owned MotoGP, MotoGP2 for the PS2 then you will probably like MotoGP3. It is a solid game except I have MotoGP2 (Namco) and to me it seems like "Deja Vu all over again". -

Thanks for the detailed impression. I have Moto GP for the Xbox and was wondering if the new Namco game was any good. I will wait til the end of April for Moto GP 2 for the Xbox.

No problem, I hope I answered your question. Moto GP3 is a very good game if you didn't play Namco's MotoGP2.
The XBOX version made by a different company blows all the Namco Moto GP games out of the water. I didn't realize Moto GP2 for the BOX was being released in April....
Well it looks like I'll be returning Moto GP3 for the XBOX version.Comment
