Midnight Club II and Linksys Adapter

Just rented this game and cant get it online. It looks like this game does not support the linksys adapter.

Anyone know for sure. I dont have any trouble getting into other games using this adapter.

doesn't support it. You need to have the Sony Network Adapter to get online w/ it.

I played a little bit of the single player. It was ok. I can see where the online part should be fun. I dont think its worth the price of the game plus the price of the sony adapter though.

Im sure i will eventually have to get the sony adapter. MC just insnt the game to make me do it. Until then back to socom and madden.

Well, playing "a little bit" of the single player really gives you no indication to what the game is like at all. Im on the last city in the single player and when i go back to the first one with the first cars I can't even play it... it's so boring. The game is almost over the top in how much it expands as you move on.

And the online play rivals the addictiveness of socom. It's that good.

I dont think I ever said that I played enough of the game to decide whether the game was good or bad.

I did say that I could see where the online piece of the game could be a lot of fun.

Based on the time that I did play it I decided that it would not be worth shelling out 90 bucks to play online. Since i would have to buy the sony adapter thats about what it would cost.

Not sure why you felt the need to attack what I was saying.

                        cycy2,
I don't think he was attacking what you were saying rather he was just explaining how much the game opens up and how much more fun it really does get later on.

Only you can decide whether or not it's worth 90 bucks because in all honesty that is a lot of money. However, if you KNOW you're going to need the NA later on down the road, then MC2 is worth picking it up for now rather than later.

Believe me, mort loves him some SOCOM (heck, he'll prolly follow this up with a "SOCOM for Lyfe" response) so I really don't think he was bad mouthing your previous response.

It's just the MC2 online is THAT fun!

MC2 is the second best online game of this generation.

                            Socom is first.

                            Madden is third.

                            Ghost Recon is fifth.

                            NHL2k3 is fourth.

                            And that's that.
