    I'm finally making the conversion

Seeing all these cars and whatnot, along with starting to watch and enjoy the NASCAR races on Sunday, has got me wanting a wheel for my PC, and NR2003. I've read from the posts that the MOMO is the best wheel to get, but there's two different ones, MOMO Racing and MOMO Force (both with force feedback). The Racing one is only 100 (and I could pick it up at a store nearby), and the Force one is 140 I think, and would have to be shipped. Is there a big difference between the two? Thanks

Absolutely, a huge difference. The Red one is leaps and bounds better than the black one (force over racing). The black one has a pedal unit that will slip and slide all over, and the throw range is crap. The red one has a metal plate in the pedals and they don't slip and slide, but the throw range is still crap. I wouldn't even look at the "black" momo, I'd go straight to the red.

Actually, "I'D" get a TSW Formula

I would look here before you make a decision on which wheel to buy. Personally, I have the MOMO force with the Act-Labs pedals and shifter. Perfect set-up!

A little pricey for me right now for that TSW I'll look around for the red one, thanks for the heads up...I probably won't be up and racing for a week or so, need to practice

That's exactly the setup I used prior to getting my TSW. The Act Labs pedals are probably the best pedal unit I ever used, with a HUGE throw range for the gas, and a great tension on the brake pedal. They're a bit lightweight when compared to the TSW pedals, but their throw range is unmatched. The shifter rocks, too, I still use it in my home racing setup.

Problem is, those are on backorder for 6 to 8 weeks or something right now. I fully agree though...if you have the money to spend, the Red Momo with the Performance Pedals and USB shifter is the setup to have for the budget racer.

As soon as I get a cool racing setup I will prob want a shifter - so I am sure I will bring this topic up later.

this game is a lot of fun...it'll take me a week to get used to the racing, but I can run quite a few laps without getting spun out. Just gotta learn when to pass. I started to edit a car, but I need more time. I don't know how Terry can throw out cars that look that fine in such little time. Kudos to you!
