That's incomplete. Nadeau is in critical but stable condition.

NASCAR still has released no details, but Ben Blake quoted a source for a story at speedtv.com saying Nadeau is in a medically induced coma to prevent swelling of the brain but is responding to stimulus.

Blake is one of the best reporters on the NASCAR beat, so the info. can be considered pretty trustworthy.

Sure hope Nadeau's condition improves.

ESPN released and updated statement contradicting that of Nascar.com and the reports from Saturday, saying that he is in an induced coma with a skull fracture.

Hopefully all turns out to be for the best no matter what the injuries are now. Nadeau even though not a popular driver is one of the enjoyable drivers to watch and listen to off the track.
