    Grand Prix Challenge

    Saw this at the store and definitely like the $30 price tag. Didn't like that it was only 2 players. I am a pretty big F1 fan and plan to get even more into it. Is this the best I can get or is there something to wait for?

      Gator fan Grand Prix Challenge is the best of the bunch. EA's F12002 for the PS2 is no match for this. The AI in GPC is solid, graphics are good, and it's based on the 2002 Season. The only problem for some is that the Analog control tends to be a little twichy when trying to steer. It appears the game was mapped for the D-Pad since the steering is not as sensitive. It's easy to control the cars on easy mode and it ramps up the difficullty when you turn off the driver aids.

      If you like F1 this is a must have and is much better than EA's F1 games for the console.

              Thanks for the feedback, Rodster. This sounds like a really cool game, and the $30 price tag is not too shabby.

                      I think they have an even larger thread on there than that one on GPC and I seem to remember a few of the developers on GPC posting there.

                              Thanks for the link MPat. I think I may hold off on this for a little bit, because it's only 2 players. I really want a 4 player F1 game.
