With that written these are my pin the note on the wall for them to add to the game or fix.
1- You cannot race in championship mode as yourself, you have to pick a real driver. That sucks big time. It takes you completely out of the game. This has been an option since Nascar 1 back in the 90's
2- I know that sent out a patch for (FF) but it still feels like i am racing on ice. I have No grip with my wheel. I am using a THRUSTMASTER WHEEL/PEDAL COMBO. I do not know what they did but it sure hasn't helped me any. I have seen where it was updated on my PS5.
3- Please give us better or for that matter what the sliders actually do. It would be great if you click in your advance setup section that a pop-up comes up and explains what this certain change would or would not do. I hate to just click the loose/tight and leave it at that. Part of the fun is finding those few tenths of a second. Have a virtual crew chief tell you what it will do. He does actually ask you, but you haven't a clue as to how to tell him what to do. The lack of that type of communications once again ruins the first-person aspect of this game.
4- Allow us to click off those intro segments. After you see them for the 46th time you get tired of it.
5- You cannot scroll after the race to see the complete results. Mind boggling to me that they have it in the race but somehow it just disappears. Gone! whoosh!
6- I cannot drive a road course if I was the only one on it. I already know I will finish 40th at those......so it would have been nice if we could have created our own schedule. i assure you it would not have road courses in it. I would race Richmond, Martinsville, Bristol more to fill in the 36 races.
7- We cannot edit the driver ratings. That is something I use to do for the PC crowd back in the day of NR2003. I was good enough where over 4,000 downloaded those rating. If anyone remembers the racing site High Compression I, had it posted on John Hughes site. Oh...but the way John is on the Nascar 2025 crew. Great job John, and Kevin as they are noted as artist for the game. I'll be blunt their rating is terrible and really leave a lot to be desired for a true representation of them.
I enjoy the game, a very good beginning and I do think it will improve over time. I even think it will be much better in the next few months before that shut down the updates to make something new and improved for Nascar 26 but give us a sense you want to make this first series worth buying another and naother down the road.
I am an old timer with Nascar games, I started with Nascar 1, then 2, then 3, 4, 1999, up until N2003 and the end of the Papyrus/Sierra partnership.
If I-racing can provide us with the minimum of N2003 I would be a happy person. Of course, all I am asking for is stuff that has already been coded and released here from 22 years ago. Yea! 22 years ago, and the same people who created them are with I Racing on this game.
The graphics are outstanding; the tracks are perfect they are way beyond N2003. Let's just add those options that that game had and with the advancements of those 22 years you would have the greatest Nascar sim ever made, and I'm sure you would have that "cult" following like never before eagerly awaiting Nascar 2026.
At the moment, I will not run any championship season, I do not care to be someone else. I do not have a desire to start a career and move up through the ranks. Again, I can see some wanting to do that, they have much more time than I do I suppose.
I will plug along racing single races until that bores me, and not worry about N2026, it will not be something I can get excited about without some added features that I noted above.
I hope someone reads this from I-Racing and takes it to heart. Maybe some of you all can chip in and give them some feedback. I feel they want to make a great game.
