Yeah the lag wasn't bad bc we were not using custom paint booth cars. Anyway I like what slammer-hammer said about no cautions on a road race. It rewards the man with the most consistent car win. I think wear on is a good idea so I will change that.

What do you guys think about changing setups in the race? I really don't know.

Remember that assists and rookie/veteran setup is your choice. We had trouble in the practice race on restarts with traction. You can counter that with traction control on high but it may slow you down in the long run.

you also need to think about if you get more than 14 people....you may have to run heats or qualify to make race..the league i race in now allows changes during pit stops but doesnt matter to me..ill race no matter what..i might have a friend who may race but doesnt play game very much..ill drive any chevy doesnt matter to me

I think we will have the races Tuesday and Thursday nights starting a 11:30 p.m. EASTERN TIME. How does this sound to everyone?

If everyone agrees the first race will be next Tuesday night.

I don't think we will get over 14 since we have 5 doing this for sure and the other 5 is a question mark. The heat races is a good idea though if we have more than 14.

I think we will go with the idea of allowing changes on pit stops bc it would be way to hard to patrol and it really doesn't make the car 1 to 2 seconds faster.

Hey guys I just thought about the fact that I start back to college on August 19 and I am not taking my PS3 to get it stole. So what do you guys think about 2 races on Tues and Thurs or 1 race on Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs. I just thought I would try to get this done in less than 2 weeks. It's up to you guys. If we choose the second option the first race will be on Monday night.

I will also update the rules page above so check it regularly and tell me what you think.

OK guys due to to having to send out a bunch of friend requests and then getting deleted bc people don't know who I am even though I put it in the message I am going to host with my old account of nmpfeiff instead of NC_State_Red_24.

I guess I will stick with my old account due to the fact that it takes so long to build a reputation and I really don't care about the DNF%.

Practice 11:30 pm
Qualifying 11:40 pm
Race begins when everyone has qualified

Daytona, Bristol - Tues Aug 4
Richmond, Charlotte - Thurs Aug 6
Indianapolis, Watkins Glen - Tues Aug 11
Michigan, Talladega - Thurs Aug 13

Pole 10 points
1st 120 points
2nd 100 points
3rd 90 points
4th 80 points
5th 70 points
6th 60 points
7th 55 points
8th 50 points
9th 45 points
10th 40 points
11th 35 points
12th 30 points
13th 25 points
14th 20 points

Race length - 20%
Wear Factor - On
Damage - On
Flag Rules - Yellow Only (except road courses Flag rules - Off)

No changes to car before the race except choosing the Rookie or Veteran (probably the one you want to go with). Changes to car can then me made during the race. Everyone must start with same setup though.

Driver assists are your choice.

We had a low turnout for the first two races with only 4 drivers. It is no big deal bc everyone is busy and time zones are different for some. There are a lot more important things in life than video games too. Join if you can Thursday at 11:30 bc more the better.
