Re: sega gt? anyone playing it?
And sorry to piss in your punch bowl, but once you earn enough jack or unlock the Ford GT 40 Concept Car (game cover car), you'll be able to win nearly every race with ease.
Sega GT 2002 was pretty fun -- awful course design aside -- until I unlocked the GT 40 Concept. Then the game fell into the sh*tter quickly, as the ability of that car stripped almost all of the challenge from the game.
Hope your mileage with SGT 2002 is better than mine!
Take care,

Re: sega gt? anyone playing it?
I love this game. I play it everyday. To win money, get to season 2 and then run the Sports Cup event race. It's 16,000 and that cup varies through a lot of tracks which keeps it interesting.
I race with all kinds of cars. And like Terry said... just don't race with the GT 40 if you don't like it. For me it's all about taking the slower cars and winning with them. Tons of fun. I love this game.
Sega GT Online is probably my most anticipated Xbox game.-------------------------

Re: sega gt? anyone playing it?
I'm very much looking forward to Sega GT Online, too, with two conditions:
1. Xbox Live play is set up like Midtown Madness 3, where the host can limit the types of cars that race. I don't want to enter a race with a Mitsubishi Lancer and try to beat seven people with Ford GT 40 Concept cars.
2. The track design improves. The track design in Sega GT 2002 was done by someone high on crack. There are way too many illogical chicanes and 90-degree corners for my taste. The developers need to buy a copy of either Apex or World Racing for a clue about how to design challenging yet flowing road circuits for a video game.
Take care,
