Dirt > Dirt 2 in my oppinion, shift is too arcadey, Forza had no cockpit view. NASCAR 09 underrated game.

Grid! I really felt that this captured the feeling of driving fast (in a sim style) better than any other game I have played. Coupled with fantastic graphics and a great damage engine, I would recommend this to anyone who wants to just jump behind the wheel and play a great racing game without worrying about tuning. Yeah, it's very challenging, but it's also very rewarding.

Yep!

Soundgarden's "Rusty Cage" when you started up Road Rash used to get me fired up.

Loved when you got pulled over in Need for Speed. The first track or so was a loooong straigh away. We used to use the Lambo to see how fast we could get it. Man I loved that system.

Thanks for the memories! Loved RR and NFS on my 3DO! I did the same thing...flying with the Lambo on the first stretch of Alpine circuit, lol! Mad air!

On topic:

-Just get Forza 3 instead of 2, lol. Due shortly.
-PGR3 (MUCH preferred over 4, sorry fans of 4)

I'm enjoying SHIFT as well, but I'm not comfortable with a recommendation unless you enjoyed GRID. Shift can be a little unruly, lol.
