Re: Forza 3 cockpit view question
Supposedly, the demo is from a 10 month old build or something like thathttp://www.myspace.com/phillthegenesis

Re: Forza 3 cockpit view question
I personally like it how it is. I want to see more of the track, not the headliner and wheel/dash. Not being able to fully see the mirrors doesn't bother me.
But, this is from the E3 stage demo - Audi R8 cockpit view
This is further back than the view in the demo, so there could be 2 cockpit views. I think they should just give us an option to manually adjust the zoom in/out though, that way everybody can tweak it to their desire.Last edited by Flawless; 09-26-2009, 09:38 PM.Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment

Re: Forza 3 cockpit view question
It's also probably worth mentioning that I haven't seen that above view since E3 and the cockpit was only 30fps then, so there could be some technical reasons why it was moved up to reach 60fps.Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment

no shift animation either for the game, confirmed by a developer on the Forza forums.Comment

Re: Forza 3 cockpit view question
Yea but that's just a animation doesn't really effect gameplay, when your racing with the wheel it's too hard to touch the buttons to see who's behind you.Comment

That view is closer to the view in Shift as you can see in this comparison:

Re: Forza 3 cockpit view question
Shift also has far fewer cars to design cockpits for. Forza 3 will have at least 400 cars. NFS: Shift only has 72.Comment

Re: Forza 3 cockpit view question
Does Shift's cockpits reflect weight reductions and roll cages that you install?
Now I don't think Forza 3's cockpit is better, but I think it's pretty damn cool all 400+ cars will visually reflect that stuff, especially the weight reductions.Last edited by Flawless; 09-27-2009, 11:00 PM.Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment
