Thanks for the link. Sadly, those tweaks make my game crash right at the Papyrus intro screen.Comment

Re: NASCAR 2003 Season - OS Server Racing
I get anywhere from 20-40 FPS with the default cars...I'm running it on a laptop with a crappy graphics card so I know I'm never going to get anything spectacular, I'd just like to figure out a way to get the game to be playable with the COT cars so I can race online with everyone.Comment

Like I said then download the lower res mod. Those graphics tweaks are for those that have high end systems and want to max out their visuals. This game came out in 2003 obviously but if ur laptop sucks then ur just SOL. Besides if ur using a laptop I assume u dont have a wheel and if u plan on using a keyboard to race u might as well not bother.Comment

Well, Bob and I downloaded the Bullring Mod 2011 and I highly recommend it. The FPS are great, the cockpit is really well done and the cars handle very well.
Not sure about the AI but this looks to be a great "all human race" mod. Kuddos to Bob for convincing me to try it.

Is there any way to get my game to work again? All I did was change the things that site told me to.Comment

Re: NASCAR 2003 Season - OS Server Racing
I wasnt being rude about it just stating facts. I asked u twice what ur setup was and u never gave a str8 reply. I cant help u if u dont answer my questions. If u plan to race online then dont use a keyboard I am sorry ull just wreck half the field every race.Comment

Re: NASCAR 2003 Season - OS Server Racing
I highly doubt that, and I don't see how providing how many FPS I got was not a "str8 reply". Anyway, my specs are:
Processor: Intel Core2 Duo CPU T5270 @ 1.40 GHz
RAM: 2 GB
Total Physical Memory: 1.99 GB
Available Physical Memory: 769 MB
Total Virtual Memory: 4.21 GB
Available Virtual Memory: 2.07 GB
Video Card: Mobile Intel 965 Express Chipset Family
Adapter RAM: 448 MB
Resolution: 1280 x 800 x 59 hertz

Re: NASCAR 2003 Season - OS Server Racing
Because the FPS you get can be affected by many different things. I could probably make my computer get 20-40 FPS on the settings you were running, and it blows your computer out of the water. FPS, without specs, is more or less useless when you're trying to help someone figure out why the game is running slow.Comment
