Yes I saw it too. In this years version you have "situations" where you have to hold off someone. Like in the Darlington race you might have to be KB and somehow beat Ricky Craven. I am thinking they show you what happened in the trailer, then you have to relive it.

Thunder 2003 had those as well. The guys from MRN Radio are the announcers. I can't remember the name they use for them, but it is very similar to the Classic Games feature in NCAA 2004.Comment

Those were in Thunder 2003 too. They are called Lightning Challenges. Each drivers has a situation where you take over the car and they explain it to you.
A for the announcers, they had MRN Radio announcers in 2003 at the beginning of the race and introduce the field, talked during cautions, and after the race. But they didnt have announcers during the actual race. I hope this is what they are adding."They talk about the Alabama family not being reasonable and realistic. Well hell no, we're not supposed to be reasonable and realistic. We're Alabama, we're supposed to be the best."

If I remember correctly, that god-awful NASCAR 2000 on the PC had announcers during the race, didn't it? If it did, this isn't something "new".Comment
