    Split/Second or Blur?

So I've decided to get an arcade style racing game, but can't decide on which one to pick up, Split Second or Blur. I could use some input and analysis from someone who has played one or preferably both, as to what game plays the best, is the most fun, has the most replay value, and has the best online experience. I'm kind of torn between the two.

Split/Second is absolutely fantastic...for the first 4 episodes then gets simply awful due to re-donk-u-los AI shenanigans. I'm trying to force my way through it but

Blur is just sub-par all around and gets tedious fast.

Split/Second might be patched at least so go with that.

On the otherhand, you can get Blur for $20 this week, thanks to the $39.99 sale price at Best Buy & the $20 manufacturers coupon. So if mediocre is worth $20, then there's that option

          Blur.

After a while I just plain hated the AI cheating in Split/Second. I beat it, but it just pissed me off. Extreme rubberbanding.

I think Split Second is definitely the better, more fun, game even with the AI flaws.

Blur has some nice features, but it gets old fast. Though if you really get into ranking up online I can see it being enjoyable. Single player feels like an afterthought and a grind.

My review should be up soon. FYI.

I hate racing games but couldn't put Blur down. Absolutely loving it and it's so easy for friends to pick up and play.
