    WOW!

The new tire model is probably the most amazing thing I have ever felt. This just blows away everything, it is so great. So much work has to be done to take care of your tires. I can not wait for all the cars to get it.

Agreed....I ran Texas, Michigan, and Daytona, and it felt superior to anything I have ever driven before. They also did an excellent job on the modeling on the new Nationwide car.

Just ran a full hour of practice at Michigan with a full field of 30 cars, and I have never seen such clean racing. You can absolutely tell what a difference the NTM has.

Only problem got to start working on new setups and paint a new car

Yep....I just ran 25 lapper at Michigan with a field of 30, and at least 10 of the cars were just white(including mine). On a positive note, I did come in 11th....

Haven't messed with it too much yet, but I've found it's actually possible for me to "chase the car up the track" which is something I never really did with the OTM. I would either end up straight in the wall, or spin. Now I can slide up the track a bit and still recover. Something I've been doing over and over again because I keep over driving the corner.

                Re: iRacing after 2+ years

I hopped in a 50-lapper at Michigan last night that was really eye-opening. Granted, there were 35+ guys in a pick-up race, so there were 29 caution laps, but we had a 10 or 12 lap green run near the end of the race that was really impressive.

The lead cars were plowing into the corner trying to out-gun each other, and those of us in 6th through 10th were just cruising around nose to tail in the high groove. 3 laps into the run, we just sailed around the top cars, and the two groups completely swapped. I went from running 7th to suddenly running 2nd, then the cars beneath me got a solid entry into T1 and took that away...back to 5th.

Got a run coming off 2 and slid under a guy in front of me, who pushed too hard and plowed the wall, rebounding down into me with a couple to go.

It ended poorly, but it's the first time in recent memory that I've been more concerned with racing the guys around me instead of just trying to keep the car from coming around. I absolutely loathed the 'slip angle drift' driving technique that you had to use in order to win races.

I only had a couple of sessions to really test it out, so it's a small sample size, but I was blown away by how much the tires fall off now for guys doing that, and how quickly I'd run cars down 5 or 6 laps in if I just kept it smooth and kept on truckin' around the outside.

I'm absolutely loving the Chevy Impala Class B (Nationwide) and tire model! Time flies when you are zipping around! Highly recommend it... to those of you on the fence, get off and join us!

Been trying out a lot of tracks today, Chicagoland is great, my teammate made a pass for the win on the outside late in a run. New Hampshire is really great, one of the track I have hated since it came out, now it feels like it should.

Once all of the cars get this I wont have enough time in the day to race everything I want.

I think I might be getting close to a decent setup for Dayton Talladega in the new Nationwide car, but its hard to run enough laps in a draft to tell for sure with so many wreckers the past few days. Anybody want to run a hosted race Tomorrow night or Sunday night so we can work on things together? I'll host. Was thinking maybe a hour long practice and 100 lap race . Let me know

Just a new paint scheme I designed. It's a rough replica of the 2005 Bud Born on Date car Jr. drove

I think we are going to jump on and practice with ya, and see what we see. What time were you planning on hosting the race?
