    Rally tips?

In the special events, rally racing... advanced level.

I won the snow event by almost 2 minutes, the tarmac event by over 30 seconds... but for some reason I can't win the dirt event.

I feel like my engine bogs down in every sharp corner, I just don't get it... what am I doing wrong?

I was having a ton of problems with the tarmac event in the beginner races. But then I decided to try a different car than I used on the snow and dirt. After switching cars I won by a pretty big margin.

If you havent tried it, try a different car that might work a little better on the dirt.

I haven't played GT5 for myself, but maybe I can help with this question.

You'll have to downshift the car to a lower gear in order to handle the tighter corners on a dirt course. Also, after reaching the target lower gear make sure the engine revs remains within the power band by carefully managing the throttle throughout the turn. It is usually not necessary to brake while drifting the car sideways in dirt.

try braking straight before the you begin to turn (don't brake around the corners as it'll cause you lose traction) and tap on the gas when ur rounding the corners to gain some traction if ur sliding too much
