1. Which system- either works i guess, but I need to know before it comes out! lol

3. Choice of car, and backup car- 1. Kevin Harvick 2. Dick Trickle (lol just messing around, but it would be sweet!) 2. Mark Martin or Custom Car. I guess custom car would be my 1st choice too if it works well, but I'm not familiar with it. have you guys seen how it works?

4. What nights work best for you- available pretty much any night

5. If you have 2 other guys for teamates, who they are- Don't matter, none of my friends would do this with me anyway

I also strongly dislike J Gordon (though not nearly as much as J Johnson.



Heh, I'm sure he already know what we think of JJ from OSFC. BTW, when I played EA's NASCAR games, JJ and JG never made the chase once I was in the Cup Series

For those of you that will struggle trying to paint your own car, I paint cars all the time for rFactor and Nascar03. Depending on the program( in-game template or exportable template) I would be happy to paint a car for you. It is truly fun as hell doing that.

I am really hoping for an exportable template like Nascar 09 had. I would much rather paint a car on my pc, as opposed to an in-game system.

All I ask in return is that if you see any off the self professed Jeff Gordon haters on the track, you introduce them to the wall!

Unfortunately, there's no way to share paint jobs for either system.

The developers originally thought that the PS3 could do this due to the easier to transfer files, but they confirmed in final builds that it's not possible. The files are locked to the profile that creates them, so there's not a separate paint file on either 360 or PS3 that you could copy to an USB stick to transfer. Just one global save file.

So what is the system then? We would pick a current real car and then all cars start the same and we tune ourselves before each race? Or is it just a common setup for everyone at start then tune at pits? Either way it should be fun.

I am a fan of fixed set-ups. The reason I favor this, is it allows even a beginner to jump in, have fun, and be competitive. If we allow open set-ups, then it really can bring down a league quickly. I am open to either way, but obviously my feelings have been made know.

Thats a big pile of suck. I struggle with that, since EA was able to do it with Nascar 09. As long as a person was on your friends list, you could see their custom paint job. I was able to paint 4 or 5 cars for friends back then, and they wee able to use them and be seen online.

Hmm, I just hope that whatever direction we go it will at least be without any assists on. When it comes to either custom or fixed setups, it really doesn't matter to me. Everyone drives differently so what is good for one may not be for another. Just look at how Gordon is unable to drive Jimmy's car and vice versa. Put me down for being against any catch up logic for a poor driver as that is what practice and setups are for.

I feel ya rules, and I am going to keep an open mind on this. I will have the game about a week early, and can start to get a feel for the set ups and assist. I am truly hoping to run no assist either, but need the game in my hands to know.

Looking like the game won't be coming out next month. Amazon.com and gamestop.com both have the release date set for the end of March. I know i know wait for offical word.
