Yeah, iwt all of the hype surrounding GT5 and Hot Pursuit, I got in the mod for a good racer. But when checking out demos, I found NFS: Shift to be really pretty great. I picked that up at a bargain price while I wait for Shift 2 to drop.

Shift is fun to race like PGR, but doesn't have the silly point and boost gameplay of Hot Pursuit. If they pull of a sim racing experience with 2, then they will beat out Forza and GT5 with more visceral driving in stead of the sterile car collecting feel of the other two.

March is going to break me, though.

Agreed. I always used the "looking at the car" view in racing games until I played Shift. That cockpit view is amazing. Now I use that view in all racing games.
