Re: NASCAR The Game 2011 Q&A and Impressions
For me its all about recognition of when it is happening. In the cross-hair radar map at the bottom, you will see when a car turns blue, he is drafting off of you. I am constantly watching that radar at the bottom and bracing myself for not only the bump-draft, but any foreseeable future contact. I use the look-back feature and the location radar at the bottom, to make sure I am not coming down on the nose of an opponent, are to stabilize for drafting, or contact.
Its not like I never get spun out, but it only happens probably once every 3-4 races now. Before I started taking all of it into account, it was happening at least once a race, if not more. Im my mind, I do not even consider this an issue for me anymore.Twitch - bluengold34_osComment

Re: NASCAR The Game 2011 Q&A and Impressions
What setting strength do you have your wheel tuned to for PS3? I have read that some people were having problems with theirs burning out, so I've turned mine to low. Also, what button is the look back? I have an older wheel, Driving Force Pro, but it works, but I can't figure out what button has you look back.Twitch - bluengold34_osComment

Why are we talking about wheels on here? Using the wheel is stupid anyway. There's another thread for that.Last edited by Candymandagreat; 04-05-2011, 06:39 PM.<a href="http://us.playstation.com/playstatio...vanni819"><img src="http://fp.profiles.us.playstation.co...iavanni819.png" width="230" height="155" border="0" /></a><br/><a href="http://www.us.playstation.com/psn/signup">Get Your Portable ID!</a>Comment

Thanks for the response blue. Is your PSN the same as your name on here? I'd like to send you a friend request, nice to have some people on my list who have this game.Comment

How come my created car doesnt show the full creation when practicing? I don't think it shows in real race. Have to double check on that part.<a href="http://us.playstation.com/playstatio...vanni819"><img src="http://fp.profiles.us.playstation.co...iavanni819.png" width="230" height="155" border="0" /></a><br/><a href="http://www.us.playstation.com/psn/signup">Get Your Portable ID!</a>Comment

Re: NASCAR The Game 2011 Q&A and Impressions
Look, I know this is a 2011 thread, but just a quick question..don't get all pissed off. Just please answer a youngster's question.
In Nascar 09, when you sign with a team in career mode, lets say Hendrick Racing...do you finally get to choose what number you wanna be, or do you still have to stay in the 100's?
Once again, sorry to ask..but all the 09 threads are down.

Re: NASCAR The Game 2011 Q&A and Impressions
So uhhhh...
I can't keep my car in a straight line at Daytona, either with the wheel or the controller. It's way worse with the wheel, and I currently have FF turned off so I don't screw my wheel up.
Why does my car weave back and forth on the straightaways? I can't run on Very Hard there because I get spun out by the cars flying by me because I can't run a straight line.
So I put the game on Hard (playing with no assists) load my Daytona setup in career and, uh, this...
happens.
WHAT IS GOING ON.Comment

Re: NASCAR The Game 2011 Q&A and Impressions
I go ahead and run the race (10 laps) and I win by 2.8 seconds. The closest anyone gets to me is the start of the race. I never had to race or fight anyone.
How can this be claimed as acceptable? I just don't understand...Comment
