If you go under photos and scroll down... there should be a file with the date you took the picture(if its the first picture youve taken) otherwise it will be put in any previous folder you had. Look in there or in any other file under pictures and your picture should be there.... somewhere. Those are the higher quality pics; they are .png files.

Re: NASCAR The Game 2011 Q&A and Impressions
The connectivity is actually very good. It lags here and there but for the most part I havent had a problem with any lag.
However, there still is some issues.
Cars crashing before the race starts and the field gets spread out way too much. Most of the time when that happens its due to a player or players having a strict NAT type from what Ive read on the NTG11 site. Also, when this occurs usually the host(theres no way of telling who it is but this is also from the NTG11 site) ends up with a .2 second lap or somewhere around there and the field gets lapped. The running order also gets messed up in these races. Ive ran from what I thought was one position and never got passed only to see the results tell a completely different story.
The cautions are few and far between. Ive seen plenty wrecks and guys driving backward and no caution is called.
The first issue mentioned happens maybe once or twice in a two hour session for me and usually is at a more popular track like Talladega or Daytona where there is upwards of 10-15 players.
Your limited to running short races to avoid the caution and pitting issues which are supposed to be fixed via patch.(I heard May 9th)
Overall, the driving model is fun and as challenging as you want to make it. The lag issues for me anyways are few and far between. Ive raced about 70 races so far and have had fun in about 90% of them.
Once the patch is here the only bad thing will be going into a random lobby only to have players blocking the track or driving backwards. Which I heard is also going to be addressed in the patch. Just cant remember how.Comment

"Added an Auto Kick system for removing disruptive players, Driving Backward or not Moving, in an online race - Added"
Just one question though. I do not know if it has or will be addressed but whenever I run a race with wear on, and have to pit, I go in, well this is from one 50 lap cali race on standard wear. Lap 37 I go in for the pits second * This is after Juan Pablo flies by me as Im slowing down and he pits as well* and after the slo mo effect i see Juan Pablo leaving out then boom a transition screen and im on my way out and and all behold Juan is gone and Clint boywer and another car are a ways ahead of me on the aprin/apron. Is the CPU using strategy by only taking two or what? I came out 17th and passed cars exiting pit rd to finish 7th after leading all previous 37 laps by over 3 secs at one point before wear kicked in and gave me a bad push around lap 25.
I was wondering if anyone out there had noticed something like this ?
Also has anyone seen where the CPU shows signs of wear like falling off the pace a little?
Because after opening up to my 3 sec lead the cpu managed to nip away and then take big chunks from lap 25 to lap 37 when pitting began.Last edited by PaperBoyx703; 04-15-2011, 05:32 PM.PSN: TBD

Re: NASCAR The Game 2011 Q&A and Impressions
So the 2nd patch has been submitted to Activision for testing, which is great, and the devs have said that the last 4 items will be sorted before the patch is released. Eutechnyx really do deserve a lot of credit for the way they've dealt with this.
Bugs:
Fix lack of Caution Flags - Fixed
Fix issues with the A.I. exiting the pits and then pulling straight up the track - Fixed
Fix Cautions Lights being illuminated all of the time - Fixed
Improve the PS3 voice comms - Fixed
Fix the instant wrecking during Online Rolling Starts - Fixed
Fix the Lobby Race Start Counter freezing - Fixed
Fix Spotter saying “Clear” too often - Fixed
Truex Jr. & Bill Elliott being corrupt during celebrations - Fixed This may need to be held back until the DLC pack due to the size of the fix. Microsoft limits the size.
Hardcore mode enabled on Xbox 360. PS3 already works - Fixed
Fix Custom Setups working Online - Fixed
Car rolling away during a celebration leaving the driver celebrating in mid-air - Fixed
Pace car lights in single player are on all of the time - Fixed
Issues with the Lucky Dog rule - Fixed
Issues with the Wave Around rule - Fixed
Improve FFB and wheel sensitivity options - Fixed
Slow Down indicator is no longer displayed on Talladega as it's a wide open track - Fixed
Loss of Save - Fixed
Fix the Rolling Starts Online/Offline so the cars begin in the correct formation and together - Work In Progress
Improve general stability and freezing issues - Work In Progress
Improvements:
In Private games, the host will start the timer when they are ready - Added
Add support for the Porsche GT2 wheel (XBox 360) - Added
Allow the HUD to be completely turned off - Added
Ensure only Carl Edwards performs a back flip - Fixed
Add the ability to change your Online Car - Added
Add proximity indicator to split screen - Added
Added Manufacturer Logos and Headlight / Taillight stickers to the Paint Shop- Added
Adding time to the lobby count down when people enter a lobby - Improved
Added a penalty mechanic to slow down the player when cutting corners on the Road Courses - Added
A.I. difficulty being too easy when qualifying - Improved
Added Wheel Control sensitivity option to the XBox 360 - Added
Allow the Rival Icon to be turned off, use In Game options menu - Added
Change the Gas indicator so it defaults to full in the pit stop interface - Added
Add support for the T500 wheel - Added
The sensitivity when using the stick to move / rotate etc. is too high - Improved
Disable rubber banding - Added
Legends Challenge, Only show the closest tag - Improved
When any players are in a race, players in the lobby should see “PLAYERS STILL RACING” where it currently reads “AWAITING OTHER DRIVERS” in the lobby - Improved
Added an Auto Kick system for removing disruptive players, Driving Backward or not Moving, in an online race - Added
A.I. bunching on certain tracks - Improved
Accelerated vinyl projection rendering, slightly faster on Xbox 360, almost twice as fast on PS3 - Improved
Upped custom decal layer count from 50 to 75 - Improved
Non-Supported wheels now have better general compatibility, Thustmaster (All) & Logitech (MoMo & GT Force) - Added
Reconfigure the damage to improve the look and add more debris on impact - Improved
Draft effect both on the car and visual to be tweaked - Work In Progress
Free up the A.I. cars so that when they are hit by a player they will get loose - Work In Progress
Investigating:
A.I. being overly aggressive when bump drafting the player
A.I. pitting problems causing them to collide in to each other
A.I. slamming their brakes on for no reason
Hitting the wall often turns the car ending up with the player facing the wrong way
I don't mean to sound negative and it is fantastic what they've sorted, but............... it looks like some of the biggest issues haven't been fixed yet, especially the pitstops which is the one bug I can't live with to be honest. Even when there isn't a huge pileup in the pits it seems that your car is ALWAYS a few seconds slower than the AI. As far as I can tell, its impossible to gain or even maintain your position after any pitstop as the AI is significantly quicker in and out.
I think this is probably because these are bigger issues that can't be fixed overnight and are going to need a lot of work on the AI. The devs have said they're committed to further patches so I'd fully expect to see a 3rd patch, probably around the time of the 2011 DLC.
Amazing work though getting so much sorted within three weeks of release. Really.Comment

Here's how bud. This is one of the added features for online play.

I'm with Papi--I can live with some niggles, but this pit bug is a game-breaker. If this bug constantly pushes you back, it constantly negates any progress you've achieved on the track. And if so, then what's the point of racing?Comment

Re: NASCAR The Game 2011 Q&A and Impressions
Yeah, as Papi alluded, this is known bug and not acceptable, IMO. They are aware of it as it's been reported multiple times on their forums and they acknowledge "looking into it", but it hasn't made it's way into the official patch 2 fix list.

Re: NASCAR The Game 2011 Q&A and Impressions
I can confirm this as well for me, it seems as though you go into slow motion when you pit but everyone else is still going full speed, so in essence at 15 second pit stop for you may seem like a 30-45 second pit stop in the game, so you fall back further than you should, this especially stinks during green flag pit stops. I've just avoided doing longer races for now, hopefully they fix this soon, I'm not playing this game much until most of the major bugs are fixed.
So I guess we'll see.Comment

Re: NASCAR The Game 2011 Q&A and Impressions
Also, the online on this game can go screw itself. Whoever the clowns are that are playing and driving backwards and turning Bristol in to a demo derby can die in a fire for all I care. This is what's wrong with console online gaming. Everyone playing is a 5 year old moron that needs to be bitch slapped.Comment

Re: NASCAR The Game 2011 Q&A and Impressions
Since neither wins, they celebrate by taking parts of their car and selling it on Ebay. They fixed this by not allowing either one of them to remove any of the parts when and if they ever get to victory row.
Hope that helps clear up a few things.Comment
