What i was saying was Vet is way to easy first race at Dyatona I ran 48.2 qualifying lap and 2nd place had 51. this was with no assist on. I bumped it up to very hard and they run mid 48's. The racing was fun but i never seen a driver make a move on any other driver seems like just rubber band racing. Also the caution delay is very very bad i got spun i was in first i cam down way to early and the caution didnt fly for at least 25 seconds. I will say the driving feels wonderful in this game and the cross hair thing is awesome. I just dont like NO AI in MP and i have never really had to make any adjustments on my car to win.

Let's see what the patch fixes.

If multiplayer is messed up, then how are we going to run an OS league?

I bought a G27 for this game so they better figure it out.

It really would've been dumb for them to do a backflip animation that only 1 of 43 drivers in the game would use. Then again I really don't put any care into the celebration animations. They could show Mark Martin doing lines of cocaine and I wouldn't care, lol.

Concern #1: their nascar boards are blowing up over this and Dave has had little to say other than a post about how he thinks the caution lights always being on is fixed in the patch.

He said there are massive AI improvements, feature enhancements, and minor bug fixes in the patch as well.

Yep, just read that. I'm going to get the game as it still looks like fun. If the difficulty is kicked up then that will bring longevity. I just don't want to be passing cars with ease and be in the lead in only a handful of laps. Heck, I would be a happy camper if I could not keep up and forced to work on setups and solid driving to get to the top.

When you blow out a tire, do the chunks of said tire tear up your fender as you try and make it to pit road?

Trust me guys you dont want to see it. Hes bashing the game pre release and he does not have the day 1 patch to fix a bunch of things.

Also on the tire blowouts, Blue had said that he definetly blew out a tire and when he went to pit road he could see chunks of rubber coming off and the tire was just barly holding onto the rim.

He was just bashing the game and making it look bad when it didnt have the day 1 patch or anything.

Guys,

Everyone needs to make their own decision on this game. As I stated before, this game is no iRacing, or NASCAR 2003...but ED and Comp. never intended it to be that.


In my most honest opinion

I think the game is very good, a lot of fun to drive, and the best console NASCAR game to date. That's not to say that will everyone will feel the way I do, or that it's a perfect game. Make your own decision on Tuesday, and then you can fill up the impression thread with your own thoughts.
