Re: NASCAR The Game 2011 Q&A and Impressions
Has anybody used Carl Edwards, and if you have does Kyle Busch try and wreck you every chance he gets, and vise versa?
Edit: Yes it was a very nice move by Harvick.Comment

Re: NASCAR The Game 2011 Q&A and Impressions
The game fully supports the G25 in fact it was specifically tuned for the game and should work better than other wheels.Comment

Johnathan,
I went ahead and checked the setup options for you. It looks like there is a bump option represented in lb/in/s which can go between 14 and 71 on each corner of the car. I am not seeing the upper control arm lengths or angles though. The shocks have numerical representation with both bump and rebound. Hopefully that answers your questions.Comment

Re: NASCAR The Game 2011 Q&A and Impressions
Thanks for checking that out good sir! I'm not 100% sure what that would be referring to.......the bump stops are solid and have no spring rate to them, and I would think would be represented by height only. They are also only used on the front of the car. But maybe they have found another way to represent them? They only other thing I can think of is that they are referring to spring rubbers (maybe they call them "bump rubbers" in England?) A typical full spring rubber that is full stiff is 75lbs/inch, and a soft half or quarter rubber is probably around 15 to 20. If they allow you to add and remove these bump rubbers on pit stops, then more than likely that is what we are talking about.Comment

I'm just going to assume that career mode is basically season mode. The developers haven't givin' any information on it other than saying you race a season and try to make the chase and win a championship....THE END....
I've been trying to get some details on it for months and months and I figured since it's two days before the release date and I still know nothing....... then there must be nothing to know.
P.S. and don't tell me it's unlimited, I've heard that every time....that tells me nothing! it is probably the year 2010 every season, I know it's going to be the same tracks and drivers but I don't want to win the 2010 or 2011 cup 8 times!!!!!! I give up!Comment

Re: NASCAR The Game 2011 Q&A and Impressions
Thanks blue I was getting mad cause I asked twice already and after my comments I saw guys commenting they have the game and they could and was asking questions to the developers on twitter. I just felt I was being ignored on my question. I dont demand anything Im just asking but yes your right I am on limited time and its not the end of the world its just Im in montana deep in the mountains and I have drive far to get new releases. But take your time blue cause I myself is watching the race to. I go for Dale Jr. Anyways take care the race is about to start.
Ok this is a 2 part answer - Slick T, the PS3 does NOT lock it to the console. I had no problem moving the game saved data to my USB drive, and back. I could even see it on my PC......
2nd question - I saved the paint scheme onto the usb, and brought it over to my pc. It doesn't show up as a standard psp/psd file that photoshop/paint.net can open. It actually shows up as a pfd file...not a pdf file, but pfd file, which is a ps3 ext. file/ It can be opened up, but not in a way that can be discussed here...and I wouldn't do it in the first place.
So the answer is no, you cant bring over a paint scheme to pc and modify it.Twitch - bluengold34_osComment

Re: NASCAR The Game 2011 Q&A and Impressions
So how many consecutive seasons would you realistically do? They would have to have drivers retire which means you would be racing against jimmy john stock, which doesn't seem fun. Now if the game doesn't keep track of all your stats, and resets after a season, that to me is a problem.13-Time World Champions: 1929, 1930, 1931, 1936, 1939, 1944, 1961, 1962, 1965, 1966, 1967, 1996, 2010

Re: NASCAR The Game 2011 Q&A and Impressions
CORRECTION: It does work. I was told by a friend that at times the force feedback comes and goes on Nascar 09 so I thought I would give it another shot today. It actually WORKED and I couldn't be happier. The force feedback felt very good. The handling model actually feels even better with the wheel.
I am SORRY if this caused any concerns but I swear yesterday there was zero force feedback. I am so glad it works.
The only thing missing is the settings page to setup the wheel in game but luckily this wheel allows you to adjust settings.Comment

Re: NASCAR The Game 2011 Q&A and Impressions
I recall more than a few games that have had FF issues on the 360 similar to what you describe. I think the work around has been to start the 360 and the game with a controller as player 1. Then turn on the wheel as player 2 and switch your profile to that controller. Not sure if it is the same bug or not. Hopefully something that gets patched.Comment
