Re: NASCAR The Game 2011 Q&A and Impressions
Every video I have seen so far online these guys are all over the place on the track. Either it's hard to control, or they are very bad drivers. In the corners they just go right up into the wall.Comment

Re: NASCAR The Game 2011 Q&A and Impressions
Thanks, Blue... little bit of a downer but doesnt carry that much weight into getting the game for me. Ill probably try to run longer races for my "career" and getting through more than 1 season will be difficult anyway as I plan on playin online more than anything.Comment

Re: NASCAR The Game 2011 Q&A and Impressions
I know Blue has already answered this question but just thought I would add to what I found. Here are the stats it keeps for your driver (all-time):
# of Races
# of wins
Top Tens
Fastest Laps
Pit Stops
There are also stats such as:
Hours played
Miles driven
Longest draft
Fuel Used
New tires
Online it will keep track of:
Races
Wins
Top Fives
Fastest Laps
Skill Level (represented by stars)Comment

Re: NASCAR The Game 2011 Q&A and Impressions
LOL, I noticed the same thing. I bet it's user error. Instead of going with "slow in, fast out", it's like the drivers are going full throttle through the corners resulting in too much momentum and right up into the wall.Comment

Re: NASCAR The Game 2011 Q&A and Impressions
Yes, it is just a matter of time. I am sure we will get a date for the fix as soon as Eutechnyx solves it with Microsoft. It has to do with the difference in policing user content from one console to another. Microsoft has a much stricter policy.Comment

Re: NASCAR The Game 2011 Q&A and Impressions
This thread has made me more comfortable spending my hard earned money on a PS3, a G27 wheel, and NTG2011. Xbox needs to step its game up when it comes to racing games. The lack of wheel support on 360 is a joke and the stringent online policies with car customization is ridiculous considering Forza, Midnight Club LA and Im sure other games allowed custom paint schemes online.
Glad Im getting a PS3 as even if Im disappointed(which I highly doubt) with NTG2011, there is always GT5, F1 2010 and other racing games that I can play with my G27!
All the impressions from Blue, Seasprite, and Senor Nascar are great!(sorry if I missed anyone) It seems the race experience is very customizable and most importantly alot of fun! If any of you guys could add a little more insight on the paint booth, like the decal editor, amount of schemes allowed, etc. and if anyone found out if you can do multiple seasons in career mode with continuous stats from year to year... it'd be much appreciated!
I know that the 25 is specifically programmed but can anyone confim the 27 has specific settings on the game as well.
Tuesday is going to be a long racing day with this and Shift releasing.Comment

Re: NASCAR The Game 2011 Q&A and Impressions
Some more impressions for you guys in regards to the cockpit view which reveals the wheel and hands.
It is crazy that every single driver's car in the game has a different interior in regards to the wheel, tach, placement of gauges and position of mirrors.
The only downer is no matter what type of custom car make you choose, all interiors are the same. Even weirder is the rear view mirror is in the passenger seat so you really do not have one unless you are playing with a controller and can scroll to the right with the right stick to see it.Comment

Re: NASCAR The Game 2011 Q&A and Impressions
You will not be dissapointed. The G27 is a fantastic setup. Wish that I could use it on my 360 for Forza but I will trade off not being able to use it on the 360 for the improvement in the pedals over the Fanatec setup (unless you go clubsport and then you are getting really pricey).

Blue I don't mean to nag but would you be able to answer yes or no to any chance of getting Dover or Talladega screenshots? Thanks much.Comment
