At 20% race length, how long does a race typically take you to complete?

And what tire/fuel wear are you using (standard or one of the accellerated) and how is that doing for need for pit stops?

Unless I am missing something (or my math is off), it would seem that if you were running 20% and did x4 tire wear, that would nearly equate to a normal race because you are running about 1/4 of the race (actually 1/5), but your tires and fuel is running out 4 times faster. So, at Daytona, if they typically run 50 laps on fuel/tire run, I assume that a 4x wear would mean that the fuel/tire run would be 12.5 laps. If you ran a 20% race (which would be 40 laps for the 500), you would have 3-4 stops. Is that how it is supposed to work? And does it?

I've held off signing up for this forum, but I would really like to know this info too. I've read every page in this thread, great job senor & blue & others for your incites.

Absoulutely I do, I am having more fun with it now, then when I first got it. When I ripped open the package(like a boy on xmas) and went throught it, I started to look for all the positives and negatives that you do, when you first get a game. Now that I have that out of my system, and I know what the flaws are(most anyways)I really just jump on and love racing the game. I know some of the flaws are going to be fixed with a patch, and some may just be a flaw I have to put up with.

After having the game since Thursday morning, I am still as excited to put it now, as ever. I think thats a very good sign..........all of this is just my opinion though.

What I really can't wait for is for all of you guy's to get the game, as I really want to hear your thoughts on it. I get tired of hearing myself ramble.....I want to see your feedback and impressions.

If you all hate it, I am going to disconnect my internet, close my blinds, and cancel my account here

Man this day keeps getting worse and worse. I call both walmarts close to me and both HAVE recieved the 360 games of nascar 11 but not ps3 and its not on there list. I freakiing went off saying wtf guys its to be released TOMORROW for PS3 and 360. Im so tired of Sony never shipping games like microsoft will. Its always like 25 360 games and 5 or 6 ps3. Then I read in here you guys saying the game DOESNT keep track of the amount of championships we win? WTF? Well now whats the point of career mode then? I really hope you guys are wrong on that otherwise thats the game killer for me and I was sooo excited still. Nascar 09 at least kept the stats of the # of the championships we won for all series. If this game doesnt keep track then thats a stupid move by those devolopers. I find it hard to believe that a sport lgame of Nascar which is all about winning championships does not keep how many championships we win in the CAREER STATS. It better have it or I will not buy it. Whats the point of career mode then LOL
