Re: NASCAR The Game 2011 Q&A and Impressions
Ok...well I ran into a glitch, where a caution should have been thrown, but it wasn't. What I did notice is that Jeff Burton's car didn't move from the track, but the race continued. His car was dead center about 40 yards from the start-finish line....but never moved again after the wreck
I knew right away that something wasn't right...so I took advantage of the situation, and delivered the catastrophic damage photo's you have all been waiting for.
Jeff flying through the air...but notice the body
total front-end destruction, and bad side damage.
Tire was blown...but stayed in tact.
Jimmy loses his qtr panel, and bows a tire........
Jeff's car is totaled, and hood is blown back
Jeff doing his best Evel Knievel impression

Re: NASCAR The Game 2011 Q&A and Impressions
Awesome screenshots Blue. This should calm some people down who were complaining about the damage model.
Question: I know you mentioned earlier that the AI does cause wrecks from time to time, but how often does this happen? Personally, I love that the AI causes wrecks, and the more the merrier haha. Would you say they cause at least 2 per race(depending on race length)?.
Thanks for you're time!Comment

Hey blue one other thing. Is the Green-White-Checkered, Yellow Line rule, and lucky dog rules all in the game?Comment

Re: NASCAR The Game 2011 Q&A and Impressions
In regards to the controller and wheel debate.....
I prefer to race with the wheel. but only because I am so used to it. They both give a very good feel on the track, but for some odd reason, the controller makes me feel a little more connected to the track. It is also more of a challenge then the wheel, and I enjoy that.
It's also nice to kick back with a controller, and not have to do the whole hook the wheel up thing. The biggest reason why I enjoy the controller, is because you can feather the gas and brake with a little more precision than with a wheel.
I enjoy both, and you can race with both very well in this game. It really comes down to your preference.Twitch - bluengold34_osComment
