Re: Nascar 11 Custom Car Thread
Id rather not do any requests anymore. The cars are just too time consuming. Glad you like it though! I might be able to put a #8 on it for ya in the coming months. I havent had alot of time to even play and have quite a few ideas for paint schemes Id still like to do.
Thanks man! It is possible to share them however, its a pain and takes a while to put a file together. Especially the way I do it. I make the files on my friends PS3 so I dont run the risk of overwriting my original paint scheme file.
Give me some time to make a few more designs that I want to do and maybe I'll make a thread and have everyone vote on there favorite cars of mine. Then Ill put the top 3 in a file to send to whoever wants it. They would be without numbers and everyone who recieves the file could just put the number they want on the car.Comment

Re: Nascar 11 Custom Car Thread
Sorry for bumping this up, but since PSN has been done, I've been playing with the Paint Booth a lot. I thought I read where you could use existing number fonts for your numbers (such as Dale Jr.'s # font). Can you and if so, how?
Alos, any tips on designing a Chevy headlights, taillights, and bowtie?Comment

Re: Nascar 11 Custom Car Thread
I havent been on NTG11 since I made the Pepsi car. With PSN down I have no interest in a game where I cant run more than 20 laps without issue. Im going to chill on requests for now. Just dont have alot of time right now.
You have to use the text for the numbers. I cant remember which font it is but you'll know it when you see it. You'll just have to skew the number for it to look like Jr.'s old #8 font.Sorry for bumping this up, but since PSN has been done, I've been playing with the Paint Booth a lot. The headlights and taillights are easier than they look. Zoom the camera so it is focused on the headlight area or taillight area. Then create a decal and use the camera angle as a reference for making the lights proportioned.(you'll still have to play with the size when applying the decal though) Use gradients and a good reference pic.
Hope this helps!Comment

Re: Nascar 11 Custom Car Thread
I actually turned on my PS3 for the first time since PSN has been down. Dont have alot of time on my hands right now and I still havent even gotten around to doing my last request from a couple months ago.
With that said, Im not doing anymore requests. Hopefully next year they have a share feature that makes sharing cars alot easier.Comment
