so i just did 35 laps at atl with brake assist off(1st time no brake assist) i've been trying to learn the lays of the track then decided to take it off due to the sudden brake slamming. so with default set up i ran a 30.68 180.0mph. then i went and did a generic turn to the loser side( i have no idea how to set up the car) and got a 30.40 181.6mph. since i can't check online with some of the crazy lap times out there how does this look? or is there a way to get a little faster.

Re: Setups
bjowers29 you think mich set up would work at atl or is it too small. I got it to where i can let off the gas into the turn and get back on it 3/4 through the turn with no brake.Comment

Re: Setups
Chicago, this set is loose but fast. If you are using manual transmission leave out of the pits in 2nd or will just spin out. Remember back your corners up just cause you can go into to turn 1 here at speeds up to 200 mph doesn't mean you should. I qualified with a 29.98 on this set.

This set is loose but fast and requires lots of throttle and car control. I have had a lot of wheel spin off the turns with it but using proper throttle control will help it (just don't lay the hammer down off the corner ease back into it). Have fun.

Re: Setups
The lowest ride height goes for me in ur Tally setup is 7.55 but u say to put it at 7.5. I have everything setup exactly as it says. U miss an option u edited somewhere else?
Edit: I did a quick qualify with it tho and got a pb of 50.02. Gonna try it on daytona later.Last edited by lVlAtlZiX; 04-01-2011, 07:41 PM.Comment

Re: Setups
We have 90 people on our website in my sig and 30 of them have been working on setups and we've found that most effective is bumps and rebounds. Most preset setups have way to heavy front springs which tightens the car too much.
The main reason I love this game is that you actually have to play with the throttle. Thats where most people get mad. You have to guide it through not just slam it.

Re: Setups
Ok so i keep trying to run a real freakin race at daytona 40 laps medium is just too easy but on hard i swerve just a little tiny hair they take off on my and i'm left in the dust. i'm using the controller so i know it is hard as hell to be in the turns and not to swerve any ideas i tred putting all the way up tightness wise to maybe slow down the swerving just a tad and it has a little but i still can't keep up with these guysComment
